The Manager-Friendly Excel Review Checklist
6 min read | Updated for workplace learners
Before sharing an Excel plan, check whether the workbook tells a clear story. Are assumptions labeled? Are formulas consistent? Are totals tied to source data? Are outputs easy to read?
Use a review tab with checks for missing values, duplicate IDs, negative values where they should not exist, and scenario totals. Add a change log when multiple people edit the file.
